During a complete refit and overhaul of a German Vessel, the ThistleBond Distributor was asked to find a solution to repairing the badly corroded propeller blades.

 ThistleBond was awarded the contract to provide our Ceramic Carbide Repair Compounds and Coatings.

UPS 200 EG Ceramic Repair Paste (TR200) and UPS 205 FG Fluid Grade Ceramic (TR205) were used to rebuild and protect the ships propellers. Our Solvent Free, two part Epoxy, Ceramic Carbide Repair Systems were seen to offer the best abrasion and corrosion  resistance and were chosen ahead of many other rival suppliers.
